A trusted leader and tactful communicator, Laura offers a perfect blend of knowledge and experience in building communities, activating supporters and communicating to a range of key audiences across multiple channels and social media platforms to achieve a common goal.
Before joining Ensight, Laura served as a Senior Associate of another consulting firm where she advised clients about government communication, produced advocacy events and initiatives, liaised with government and corporate stakeholders on behalf of clients, and monitored media, parliament and government committees.
Prior to her agency role, Laura’s deep passion for community building led her to the Liberal Party of Canada as the Manager, Development and Events where she managed all national fundraising events and built a broad and trusted network throughout the political community. As Manager, Logistics and Administration for the 2015 federal campaign Leader’s Tour she took on a leadership role for the 7,000-person rally in Brampton, and the party’s election night event, while managing a team responsible for daily tour logistics. Later, she was selected to manage the Liberal’s 2016 Biennial Convention in Winnipeg. She was responsible for all aspects of the event, working across departments to ensure the convention exceeded its strategic objectives.
An Ottawa native, Laura holds a BA in Art History and Communications from McGill University, where she won the prestigious Scarlet Key Award for outstanding student leadership.
