A highly regarded speaker and panelist, Jaime spent ten years as Chair of Thomas Watt Advertising, a leading regional advertising agency and communications consulting firm based in London, Ontario.
He was the senior communications advisor for the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party in the landmark 1995 and 1999 election campaigns and held the same position in the Office of the Premier of Ontario. Following the retirement of Premier Harris, Jaime served as Campaign Chair for PC Party leadership candidate Jim Flaherty and led an effort that many observers say has permanently changed the face of political races in Canada because of its boldness and creativity. He was co-chair of Premier Eves's re-election campaign as well as Barbara Hall's campaign for Mayor of Toronto.
Jaime currently serves as Chair of Casey House, Canada's pioneer AIDS hospice, as well as Casey House Foundation and is a Vice President of the Albany Club. He is a director of the Dominion Institute, Woodrow Wilson Center's Canada Institute, TD Canada Trust's Private Giving Foundation, The Canadian Club of Toronto and The Clean Water Foundation. As well, Jaime is a member of the President's Advisory Council for the Canadian Red Cross and is a member of the Executive Committee of Canadians for Equal Marriage. He was a founding Trustee and Co-chair of the Canadian Human Rights Trust and the Canadian Human Rights Campaign.
In 2003, Jaime was awarded the Queen's Jubilee medal for service to the community.
