Will is a Senior Consultant at Ensight providing strategic planning, research, government relations, and communications advice to government, corporate and not-for-profit clients.
He has served as Chief of Staff to a number of Ontario Minister portfolios including Energy, Social Services, Children, and Francophone Affairs. Will also has an in-depth understanding of political and legislative processes having served as both Chief of Staff to the Government House Leader and the Government Whip.
Will has keen ability to both develop and sell good public policy having championed more than a dozen pieces of legislation or regulations from both within government and while in the private sector.
As the Chief of Staff to the Minister of Energy, Will provided strategic advice to the government on the energy sector including through both the electricity price crisis and the blackout.
He oversaw the reform of the Ontario Energy Board, the creation of Ontario's Green Power Standard, and served as liaison for the Electricity Conservation and Supply Task Force.
Following his time with government, Will was Director of Policy and Communications for a major trade association providing advocacy and analysis on regulatory and political challenges for members across Ontario.
Will has also served as a member of a number of government relations and communications committees for not-for-profit organizations on a volunteer basis.
