Michelle currently serves as Managing Principal of Ensight and as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of The Enterprise Canada Group. In her many roles with the company, Michelle skillfully utilizes her experience in business, strategic planning, consensus building and crisis management. Michelle specializes in understanding and explaining the unique relationship among public policy, public opinion and the media.
Michelle has also served as President of Enterprise Canada Consultants Inc., where she guided the day-to-day operations of Enterprise Canada's government relations and communications consulting business.
Previously, Michelle spent five years at the Ontario Legislature. As Executive Assistant to Ernie Eves, MPP for Parry Sound and former Premier and Minister of Finance, Michelle gained extensive experience in policy development, program delivery processes, negotiation and issues management. Prior to working at Queen's Park, Michelle worked in the operations department at Ontario Progressive Conservative Party Headquarters. She provides clients with insight and expertise on the events, personalities and trends that shape the public policy process.
An active member of her community, Michelle is Treasurer of the Board of Directors of The Justin Eves Foundation, a charitable organization that funds scholarships for learning disabled post-secondary students and research into teaching strategies for learning disabled youth. Michelle also serves on the fundraising committee for the annual Butterfly Ball in support of the Toronto Child Abuse Centre. Michelle was chair of the organizing committee of The Fraser Mustard Awards Gala 2004 to benefit the Toronto Foundation for Student Success, a program that provides breakfasts, snacks and lunches to 68,000 Toronto public school students.
Michelle holds an MBA from Queen's University. She graduated from York University with a degree in political science and history and holds an Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Business.
